This epic film tells the story of prisoners and the relationships they form during a transitional period of American history. This film is a bonanza of theme, visual imagery & striking significance. Moreover, it makes one appreciate the little things in life. However, mundane they may seem in the bigger picture. This film is based on the 1982 book by author Stephen King. I read Skeleton Crew a collection of short stories which is also one of his notable works. Overall, I very much enjoyed this film & recommend it to a mature audience. I give it a 5 out of 5.
