Lord of War, a film review.

This film is a crime drama, that features the story of Yuri Orlov. He is an arms dealer, that wants to capitalize on the dodgy trade. He becomes disenchanted as he slowly realizes that he is selling to both sides of a conflict. The timeliness of this movie as it relates to various conflicts around the world is evident. It strikes at the core of the necessity for defense & the futility of af the arms trade when so many go without, especially women & children. It is somewhat discouraging but enlightening for the breadth and scope of this film, and I commend Nicolas Cage for taking on such a controversial role. I give this film a 5 out of 5.
