This excellent film portrays the story of a man, played by Michael Duncan, convicted of a brutal crime and his time in prison at the hands of hard-lined prison guards. The man, John, adopts a mouse and much to the guards dismay it is something that John loves. John seems to have a mysterious ability & heals one of the prison guards cancer. This film was very dramatic and portrays an often misunderstood aspect of American society, violent crime & restorative justice. In 2025 alone there were over 340 mass shootings so far. A startling statistic. I very much enjoyed this film and recommend it to a mature audience. I give it a 5 out of 5.
