This Canadian comedy drama was set on the West Coast. It originally aired from 1972 to 1990. It tells the story of a logging town, with various characters competing for the highly profitable lumber in the vast forests of British Columbia. One of the aspects of the show that was emphasized was the multicultural aspects of the characters. This was a CBC network production. Overall there were more than 300+ episodes produced. I very much enjoyed the episodes I did watch, and associate this nostalgic program with my childhood. I give it a 5 out of 5.
